Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!!

Somehow, the end of the semester has caught up with us, and is almost here. Friday night will be graduation. This last month has whizzed by!! Almost all of our students will be returning next semester. That is a good thing, because we will miss all of them so! This has been a wonderful experience these last few months. We have seen the students grow so much in their walks with God. All the trials, victories, and teaching have developed stronger, more mature Christian men and women. They are passionate for Jesus, with servants’ hearts. They have also grown in their ability to lead worship, pray, and love one another.
For our songwriting class, the students performed their new songs for the school. They did a great job. One of the songs will be used for the worship at graduation. I’m very blessed by their talent and love for Jesus.
Our college put on a Thanksgiving dinner. It was complete with the turkey, all the trimmings, sweet potatoes, pies, and the whole bit!!! We went down to K-Town, an air force base 2 ½ hrs south of us, to get everything. Germany doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving, so we couldn’t get all the stuff here! The staff, guests, and of course, the students, were all invited. We sang songs, decorated the room, and had a wonderful evening, as we lifted up our thanksgivings to God.

We’ve been talking about next semester, taking our worship to the streets more often. The world is looking for truth, and what better way to convey it than in the form of music, which they will listen to.

On top of teaching and serving at the bible college, Bruce and I have also been teaching and leading worship for other churches. Although it makes us busy, it’s always a privilege to be given the opportunity to speak into others’ lives.
Last Thursday, Teresa taught, and shared a couple special songs for the Calvary Chapel Siegen’s women’s Christmas night. She spoke on having a “Mary Christmas in a Martha World.” There was a great turnout, even though the freezing cold and snow had begun.
Women were touched, blessed, and challenged to take time for Jesus during this very busy season.
Bruce also spoke to the CC Siegen men for their Christmas night. He spoke on the need to persevere under trial, and press on for Christ.
Bruce took a team of students to Lippstadt, northern Germany. They evangelized on the streets, and gave away fresh, homemade waffles to the busy Christmas shoppers.Several people were very interested in coming to the CC in Lippstadt. Afterwards, they had a great prayer and worship night with communion. The next day,Bruce taught the Sunday morning service.

This last Sunday morning, Bruce taught at CCSiegen. It was a great encouragement to give all our burdens to the Lord and trust Him. He will be teaching next Sunday at Osthelden,a church 20 minutes north of here. It is an evangelical church. Teresa will be sharing in worship.
We had so much warfare last month. At times it was overwhelming. Bruce’s guitar was stolen on our Luxembourg outreach. But God blessed us with our insurance company paying for another one!!! Teresa was falsely accused of hitting another car in a parking lot. She had to go to the police station twice to give testimony. Fortunately, she had witnesses in the car. After 2 months of dealing with this, she was finally acquitted of any charges. However, she was given 30 hours of community service because she was driving after the 6 month allowance with her CA license. We all learned a lesson from that one!!
No one knew about this! But!!! It looks like her community service might be serving at the church, which includes the school!!! She’ll have at least 30 hours worth!!
God is so faithful. He always turns our crises into resolves. He turns our stresses into songs of deliverance. We are learning more and more to simply trust Him. He works all things out for His glory and our good.

We want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas~! May you always remember how much Jesus loves you…. He gave up everything, to come into this world in a human body, suffer the pain of rejection and crucifixion, so that we can be freely forgiven of all sin, and live forever with him in heaven. How then shall we live? By giving it all up for Him!
We remember you this Christmas, as you are in our hearts and prayers.

We want to especially thank those of you who have supported us in prayer and in giving.
Without you, we would not be able to be here, serving this community.

May you and yours be filled with Peace, Joy, Love, and of course, Jesus, this season!!!

Mid Semester highlights

Hi Everyone!
This has been a "zuper" semester so far. The students are growing in their love and commitment to Jesus, and His Word. They have also been growing in the practical, of loving one another. When you live together day in and day out, differences arise, and as the bible says , "iron sharpens iron." It's for the good, and we've been seeing how God is maturing everyone in this area.!

We just came back from "outreach week." We had three teams go to different places to help churches, do evangelism, and just about anything else that would help. We took a team of 7 students to Luxembourg. We stayed in the home of Jacques and Francoise Bernard, the pastor of a Calvary Chapel starting there in Esch. We saw God do some amazing things, and open supernatural doors of opportunity. We spent the first day praying , walking the streets, and learning about the Luxembourgish people. Some of the highlights: Marco, one of our members who does rap, got to share his testimony, music and info about the church on a secular hip hop station! I shared a little as well, and bruce and Christian and I backed him up on a song.. They called me "Mother Teresa", the gospel artist!! Ha Ha! This is the first time ever that the gospel has gone out on the airwaves. Preaching the gospel isn't allowed there; the only accepted religion is the State Catholic Church. All others are illegal. We also got permission to play music in a park with a stage and electricity. This is also the first time that park has ever had anyone play in it; It was built years ago. We received permission to play on the streets of downtown. All of these things were firsts, and Jacques said they were nothing short of miraculous! Everyday we played on the streets, and sang our songs in German, French and English. As people gathered, we would divide up and share with them. Hearts were all very open. Most people had never even heard of the gospel, nor knew anything about Jesus.
And they were interested. On Friday night, we had a concert at the Bernard's home, and it was a wonderful time with their guests, friends, and even one guy showed up we had shared with at the park!
The DJ's at the radio station were so impressed with Marco and the team, that they came to one of our outdoor concerts, and are coming to the opening day at church (Dec.12th). This is another supernatural thing. Prayer really opens doors and hearts.
We all came back very encouraged, revived, and expectant of more things that God will do!
The beginning of October, Teresa led worship for the Calvary Chapel UK women's conference. It was a great time where 250 women gathered. Women got challenged, inspired, and built up in their faith.
Along with all this spiritual fruit, we have experienced much warfare; both personally and as a school. Bruce's guitar got stolen somehow in the midst of the radio station experience. It was a heartbreak, but we had to move on. People were getting headaches, feeling sick, and waves of depression would randomly come over people. We learned to press on in spite of it all.
We so covet your prayers. In the midst of battles over souls, we are in the throws of warfare. For those of you who pray for us, we cannot thank you enough. Prayer is the stuff that miracles are made of. .. and everyday strength and perseverance is founded upon. We so need your partnership for it all to happen!!!! ...... Until He comes, we remain totally committed!!!!

Good Start!

We are into the 3rd week of this new fall semester. It’s going great! God has brought together some wonderful hearts to study here. There’s an eagerness to learn, and a sweet spirit among the students on campus. The classes are going well; Bruce is enjoying his apologetics morning and evening class. Teaching at Calvary Chapel Siegen for the evening portion is a challenge. It’s open to the community to learn; he is using a translator to get the message across! Songwriting is really fun. We’re learning all about the elements of a good worship song; we’ll all be writing at least 2 songs this semester and playing them before one another. Psalms class is great! Bruce is doing such a good job with slide presentations; We’re learning about Hebrew poetry, the hearts of the psalmists, and that “Life is tough, but God is good!”
We found out that we had to both get German driver’s licenses. We thought our American ones were good for a year. But they are only allowed for 6 months! So we have to go to driver’s school, take written tests, and go through an amazing amount of paperwork. Eye exams, red cross courses, driver’s license translation from English to German, etc, etc…. Part of German culture is emphasis on regulations. It will take a long time to do it, among other things, but God will lead us!!!
Our long time dog, Ice will be joining us here. Our son, Nathan, has been keeping him for us temporarily until we could get settled into a situation where he could come.
We’re so excited to have our friend back again!
We had our fall semester BBQ on Saturday for all staff , family, and students. It was a fun day; just relaxing, eating good food, playing games, sitting around a campfire, singing songs, all in nice weather. We were at a beautiful camp-like setting in the foothills.
Coming up in the first weekend in October, Teresa will be leading worship for the CC UK women’s retreat outside of York. It’s going to be such a blessing gathering with the saints in England. Bruce will be going to help that same weekend for the first CCIreland conference. He’ll be with a team being a support. What a blessing!
As the days get shorter, we’re reminded of our days in this world also getting shorter. We need to redeem the time, for the harvest is ripe and the fields are ready. Though the days also seem spiritually darker, we are the light bearers, pointing the way to the only One who can help; Jesus! Thank you for standing with us in prayer and giving.
We so appreciate you.
Yours in Christ,
Bruce and Teresa

Fall Semester

Here we are, starting out the fall semester. Summer has whizzed by, and even the weather has been showing signs of change.
The mornings are in the low 40s (F), and Thursday has forecast 37 for a low. We are all getting busy, attending to things that need to be done. The students will begin arriving on Wednesday, the 1st. We'll be doing airport "runs" to Frankfurt to pick them up. We've been meeting with the staff, praying, and discussing this next year. We now have 25 students, many of which are Germans.
Saturday is our orientation. We will all share with the students about our classes, registration, etc. Yesterday, at CCSiegen, we participated in missions' day. Our booth was well attended. Many are interested in the college. We also will be offering weekend workshops this semester. That way, people from churches can also attend. Classes start next week, the 6th.

Yesterday, Sunday, we went with a team to Weisbaden, a beautiful city 2 hrs. south of here. We joined CCWeisbaden and some other churches in the area and played music and sang for their monthly outreach. It's on a busy section of the shopping mall.
We passed out tracts, spoke with lots of people, and one man, from Pakistan, received Christ. He had just lost 20 people in his family due to the massive flooding there. God had softened his heart, and he stayed all day, listening to us.
Much of August was spent moving from our old apartment to a new one. The bible college rents an apt building to their staff. We moved here to accommodate our dog when he comes. (should be mid Sept.) It is on the bottom floor and has a small yard. We patched, painted, and landscaped the place. The church has a huge second hand store here, so it's great when you have to get things. (like rugs, lamps, etc). It is about a mile from the college dorms. Our old apartment will be rented by a couple who are going to cook dinners for the school. It's very convenient, as it's right above the cafeteria.
We all pitched in , and painted the villa (dorms) and cleaned up everything. It's nice and ready to go for everyone.
In mid-August,Bruce and I attended the EURO missions conference at the CCcastle in Austria. Missionaries from all over Europe and beyond, with their families were there. It was a wonderful blessing meeting with all these dedicated servants, many who have been on the field for years! I taught a women's session on the last day, and led worship afterwards. We had a sweet time in the Spirit, with many tears, prayers, and lifted hands. God touched our hearts is such a sweet way. Bruce and I also lead worship for an evening session; It was all a wonderful blessing being in such a gorgeous place. The mountains, lake, trees, and sky were like watching a postcard. God's handiwork is truly magnificent!
There is so much opportunity to minister here. We've had many invitations to come to churches and speak, lead worship, and evangelize. Hopefully (it's our desire) to get time to do that. Once the semester starts, we know it will be BUSY!!!
Many are interested in the worship school. We'll be offering 3 classes that will fulfill the requirements, plus several workshops.
God is good, and is being very faithful to us .. We think of you often, miss you and pray for you .. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. At times, the warfare is intense and very active! We are in a battle for souls and this next generation in particular.
Thanks for standing with us, and holding us up!!! May His name be glorified!!

Back in Germany!

Dear Friends and Family~
We are now back in Siegen, after quite an adventure filled couple of months. After the spring semester was completed, we went back to the States. Our new grandson, Jamin Carmi Muller, was born May 4th, and we just had to see him! We also stayed a week to help Simeon and Alli with their work schedules, and help attend to their newborn blessing!
While we were in California, we were able to spend time with the rest of our family and friends. It was so wonderful seeing everyone again. Bruce's mom, Mary, had her 89th birthday, and all of Bruce's family came to celebrate. Mary was so filled with emotion having everyone around her. She's been having health problems, and this was a special gift to her.
The Lord opened up many opportunities to minister at several churches as well. We shared in CC Vancouver, CCVisalia, CC Escondido, Crossroads Community in Oceanside, and home fellowships. The pastor of CC Visalia, Bob Grenier, blessed Bruce with a wonderful gift. He paid for Bruce to attend the CC Pastor's Conference in Murrieta. That was such an unexpected blessing! Thank you Bob!
We flew back to Germany, only to spend a couple days before leaving for York, England. Our good friends, Dave and Nancy Sylvester, oversee the bible college there, and CCYork. They showed us around England, and we learned a lot of English history. They also asked us to teach and lead worship for their women's ministry and Sunday services. God richly blessed us , even in the midst of the relentless warfare we experienced there. Gave us a passion to pray for our brethren in England!
Now we are back in Siegen, and preparing for this coming semester. So much to do!! There are work projects (like painting the whole villa), class preparations, and various errands and chores, (like picking people up from airports!). This is a transition year for the college. Because of David Guzik leaving after 7 years, there's a transition of leadership and staff. We really need more students to register, as well as interns and staff. So, we covet your prayers for this next semester. Transition years are challenging, yet we know that God is faithful. The church here, CCSiegen, is behind the school, supporting it, and working with it. They also need our prayers for finances, wisdom in leadership, and extra hands for the college.
We look forward to the classes. Bruce will be teaching Apologetics, as well as a Monday evening class for the church; Psalms, and of course, Worship. We are planning to teach workshops as well, on various subjects, including Songwriting. We're praying for students that can play and lead worship to fill our many devotional times, etc.
We so covet your prayers, support, and fellowship. We know this will be an exciting year. As the days grow darker, God shines brighter. We don't have much time left in this world, and we want to keep working til we are home with Him!!! Til next time!

Looking Forward~

So much has occurred since our last blog update. Time is flying by, with little time to record it all! The students did great during their outreaches. So many of them did street evangelism, and even in airports during the volcanic disruption of flights!
The spring semester has finished at CCBC.de and what a wonderful
blessing it was to see the students graduate. Not only did they
complete their courses of study but they also impacted the continent
of Europe at the same time. It was bittersweet for us,as we all miss them very much!
This last semester students travelled around to minister in five
different countries. They preached the gospel on the streets of a
dozen different cites from Prague to Amsterdam. We sent teams to ten
different Calvary Chapels and still more churches that are not
directly affiliated with CC but are hungry for the sincere word of God
that is resident within the hearts of these great young students.

This last semester Teresa and I went to Siegen to start a pilot
program to investigate the feasibility of integrating a School of
Worship into the Bible College curriculum. We had tremendous results
in this first season. Of the 37 students that attended Calvary Chapel
Bible College in Germany,19 were involved in the music program and 10
in specific classes in worship leading. One woman, Lydia, went to
assist with the church plant in Luxemburg as a worship leader.
Another stsudent, Chad, will be assisting a church plant near the Polish border. One student had no thought of ever pursuing a calling as a
worship leader, but shereceived a push from the Holy Spirit to follow up her
Bible College experience with further training at Liberty University. There
are so many opportunities in Europe and so few people available to
fill them, we are thanking God for this window to invest in the
Kingdom!

After the semester was completed we sat down with the elders at CC
Siegen and they gave their unanimous consent to pursue a full course
of Study with the School of Worship as another major within the Bible
College.
We will be developing the course one step at a time as we gather our
course materials and develop a staff of teachers who will be able to
teach all the classes. Needless to say we are thrilled. We will be
opening a new web site that will join the Calvary Chapel Bible College
and the Calvary School of Worship. Again this is still in the
development stage and needs lots of your prayers.(please!)
We are currently in the States, visiting our newest grandson, Jamin Carmi Muller!
While we're here, we got to see Nathan, our son stationed in Shaw AFB in South Carolina. What a blessing. We'll be seeing our sons, David and his family, and Jonathan. We'll be doing ministry in several churches as well. We return to DE on June 29th.
This life is an exciting and adventurous ride. As we see the days grow more confusing, and darkness overtaking the whole world, we also see the Light of God, pouring into his people, to share His love , His message of redemption, and His power. Come quickly Lord Jesus!!

Thank you so much for standing with us in prayer and support this last
semester. We could not have done it without you. May His love and presence pour into your hearts as you look to Him~

Outreach Week~

What a different week we had! At the college, there is an outreach week every semester. Each team, composed of students and team leaders, goes on a mission. Some go to different countries; some stay in Germany. The goal is to get experience in helping churches, evangelizing , and learning to be a group, working together. Bruce and I went with a team to Austria, to help at the CC Castle in Millstatt. The Castle is used for conferences, refreshment, and is a hub for Europeans. They only have a small staff of 6, and needed much help cleaning, repairing, and ministering to several guests currently there. Most of the week, we were there, coming alongside of them in any way we could. Also, in a nearby town, Spittal, we helped the church with their services, as well as cleaning, etc. It was a full week. We left the Bible College last Saturday, and headed for the Castle. It's in the Alps, and is overlooking a gorgeous lake. While we were cleaning windows, we'd often pinch ourselves, as we couldn't believe the views we were seeing. Just like the "Sound of Music." On Sunday, Bruce taught the church service in Spittal, and I led worship with some of the team. It was great singing some German songs. Good experience learning a new culture! Sunday evening, we led a worship night at the Castle for the staff, guests, and our team as well. They were so hungry for having worship in their language. There were missionaries there from Russia who miss English worship.
Then on Monday, we all went to work. I haven't worked that hard in manual labor for years!!! Running up and down several flights of stairs in the Castle, cleaning bathrooms, doing yard work, etc etc... We were tired Monday night!!
Tuesday, we went back to work at the Castle again. Then on Tuesday evening, we took a 45 minute drive down to a border town in Italy to eat pizza. You know how Americans yearn to taste of Italy!!! We walked around a bit, and then came back.
Wednesday, we worked again at the Castle, then went street witnessing in Spittal. We passed out tracts, and got to speak with different people. My German is "nicht" (not!) so I didn't talk much. We met some girls from Hungary, and they didn't speak German or English! As we were leaving town, a man riding a bicycle, was checking out the girls in our van. They smiled at him, then held up a sign that read Jesus loves you, in German. He smiled, then the girls handed him a tract out the window. He took the tract and rode off. Talk about being instant in season!!!We laughed at God's unique creative ways!

Wed night, Bruce gave the study at Church. He shared a beautiful song he wrote about Millstatt, and the people. He has such a gift for story songs!
Thursday, we went to the church to help out there. We were served an authentic Austrian lunch. These amazing dumplings filled with different ingredients. Thursday night, we did another Worship Night for the Castle. It was really good! God touched our hearts with His presence, and it was a great time of fellowship afterwards.
Friday, we packed up and left for Innsbruck. One of our team members, a couple, is praying about starting a Calvary in Innsbruch. We prayed for the city, and stayed in a hostel. It is a beautiful city, but very dark, and you can see it in people's faces. We'll continue to pray for God's will in that city.
The next morning, I woke up to a birthday surprise. I turned 60 on this special day, and I had already decided I wouldn't get sad that I'd be riding in a car all day back to Germany, with a non-eventful ride. But God had put it on Katha's heart(our team leader) to bring us to Schloss Newschwanstein. Thee fairy tale Castle of all times!!!
I so enjoyed this special day, in such a special place. Bruce brought me up to the castle in a horse drawn carriage. How special was that?! I felt like a princess~
We all needed this break, as we had worked so hard all week and were in need of some down time. God blessed our week with good weather, good health, good relationships, and good fruit. He is such an awesome God.
There are only 2 more weeks til the semester ends. Lots of things to do before school ends. Bruce and I will be serving at the Pastor/Leadership conference here after school lets out. This is the main conference in Europe for leaders. Please keep it in prayer.
We continue to be so grateful to you for all your prayers, and support.
May God keep pouring out His blessings and His spirit upon you!
Love in Him, Bruce and Teresa

Easter in Prague

Happy belated Easter to everyone!!

We got back from Prague safely. What a time we had there. We went their to both get away together alone for a few days, and also to minister at the CC there for their Sunday service. We led the worship, and afterwards got to minister to the budding musicians there. Bruce took lots of pictures of the beautiful architecture there. Amazing details in their buildings. He posted them on facebook for those who want to see them. We passed out some tracts, drank some CZECK coffee, and walked along the river.
Then in the midst of it all, our car light went on for engine malfunction. The manual said not to drive on it. So fortunately (hmm) we just "happened " to be right near a Volkswagon dealership/service center, and we took it in. They did a whole workup on it. Boy were we praying. We had thoughts going thru our heads of engine breakdown, etc, and how we'd deal with it. All this to find out that the gas cap wasn't closed properly. When we first arrived in Czech republic, the gas station had an attendant there pumping all the gas. So he put the cap back on wrong. But hey, $75 to find that out was a relief after thinking about what it could've been. I guess perspective plays a huge part in how we look at life. And we were very thankful to have a normal car back!
Bruce and I are the cooks this weekend for the college. Every staff member takes a weekend, to give the regulars a break. We're going to make Fajitas, spaghetti, chicken soup, and cinnamon rolls. Not all in one meal of course!! We have 2 students to help us. We cook for around 50. Will be an adventure!
The afterglow this morning went well. We learned about the gift of prophecy, and then we all got to wait on the Lord, pray, etc.
It was a good meeting. We only have four more weeks of school. It's going so fast. Our outreach week is coming up on April 17th.
All the students go on teams to different places to do ministry. We'll be going with 13 to Austria to help a church in Millstatt. We'll
be staying at the CC castle. It's near the church there. Bruce will be teaching, I'll be leading worship, and our other members will help with sunday school, etc... If you think of it, keep us in prayer for good weather, safety, the car (!) and ministry opportunity!
Thank you for all the prayers! God is so faithful. We are confident of His purposes being fulfilled here, and realize that there's so much opportunity to spread the good news of His life, and hope here in this dark world.
Truely, the time is short. Our lives here are just for a moment before we are gone. Like King David said in the Psalms, "make me to know the measure of my days, O Lord."
For HIs glory,
B&T

PASSOVER

It's that time of year again, when we reflect on our Lord and Savior's death and resurrection. We are also going to lead the school in a "seder", a passover service.
This is the last supper that Jesus was having with his disciples. We will all go through the hagaddah,(the worship service book), then have a meal with mazto ball soup, chicken, veggies, and a kosher dessert! Then we finish the meal with a short final closing service. Last year, we had one at our home with some of Nate and Jonny's friends. This year, we will have 50 attending. We will be celebrating it on April 1st. Not the actual passover date, but this is the only time the college can do it, because of many time conflicts. We have lots of preparation this next week. I'm so glad that death has been passed over, and we can look forward to life forever!!!
Tomorrow, Bruce and I are driving to Frankfurt with some students to attend a music expo. There will be lots of different instruments, and equipment there from every dealer. This is the largest one in Europe. It will be quite an eye opener for the students!
Mid terms are now over! Everyone did well, although there was lots of nervousness going around! It's hard to believe that we're half way through the semester already!
Next weekend, we are going to help a church in Prague with their worship service. The school is off for 4 days for Easter, so we'll be able to enjoy Prague for a couple days as well. It's about 5 hours from here. It will be nice to take a little break from the tight schedule we are on.
We're continuing to learn German. It's getting easier, and we can now pronounce words when we read them. We're also learning more German songs. The worship services here use both English and German lyrics.
The afterglow sessions are continuing to be a blessing. Last week, we laid hands and prayed for those who feel called to go on the mission field, or be pastors, worship leaders, or other positions they feel called to take a step of faith. We discussed the gift of faith and healing. We also prayed for healing for several with needs.
God is meeting many needs here, and although there are many trials for the kids being in such intense and tight schedules and quarters, God is maturing, and filling them up with more of Himself.
Please continue to pray for their growth in the Lord. The German culture has a hard time embracing grace. They are so diligent in their works, and it tends to carry over into their relationship with God. God's unconditional love needs to be embraced in their heart as well as their heads.
Thankyou for your many prayers. God has been blessing our hearts. We are so blessed being in the center of His will, and are so grateful for being used to mentor and encourage those around us. I'm sure it's because of all the prayer!
Because He lives, we can face tomorrow... Because He lives, all fear is gone!!!!

Amen! Love and prayers,
Bruce and Teresa :)

"March|" On!!

"Guten Tag" Dear Ones~

The weeks here seem to be flying by. Everyday is packed with things to do, so time passes quickly. Life at the bible college is fast paced, with every minute filled with studying, ministry, worship, fellowship, and of course, eating!!! Some of us even throw some sleep in there!!! But we are revelling in the blessings of ministry here.
We have a praise report, for those who have been praying about our car. As many of you know, we shipped it here, filling it with our musical equipment, instruments, and a couple of boxes of "stuff" that we couldn't fit in our suitcases. Our car arrived, and sat for almost 3 weeks in customs, waiting to be cleared. They don'tlike people bringing in things, in case of selling for profit, etc. We all prayed hard, and last Wednesday, Bruce got the clearance to pick it up! The first all sunny day we had, and God blessed his travels back from Bremehaven, (3 1/2 hours north). Everything arrived in good condition, including the car. We are so grateful. It's like a good old friend came to be with us. I was so excited to get keyboard, I stayed up til midnight just playing it!
Last night, we had a wonderful prayer meeting in our apt, and we worshipped away, and interceeded for many people, places and things. WITH our keyboard!
God is really stirring up the students to worship Him more, and press on towards more of God in their lives. The special times we have in our afterglow meetings have been a sweet and learning experience. Fears, walls, and insecurities are beginning to fall to the wayside, as God's presence is pouring out.
We found out that the last pastor's conference here in the EU, had pastors on their face, crying out before God, pleading for worship leaders. There is such a dearth of worship leaders with a heart to serve here. So many church plants are sprouting up. We had heard that before, but now we see first hand, the real need. We pray that God sends and raises up more young people (and even old!)to step out in faith and "go."
A student in the devotions this morning, shared how his parents left everything in America and went to Ireland to serve the Lord. They have found, like so many, that God is faithful, dependable, and will provide when we step out in faith to do His will.
Well, this already is pretty long......So much to say. The Lord is doing a marvelous work here, and we are so grateful to be a part of it.
Once again, we are so grateful for you, your prayers, your support, and your love. We are one body, and linked together. You that partner with us, are reaping the same rewards and blessing. May God continue to glorify Himself, and pour out His presence on this school, and the staff and students.

In His hand,
Teresa

Bibleschule!!!!

Dear Ones,

We had a good morning. "guten morgen."Bruce and I played worship with a couple students, and it was great!! Bruce led the devotional. (They start their day M,W, and F with devos for 1 1/2 hours. ) Afterwards, we had a meeting with anyone who wanted to be involved in worship. We had a good response. The kids are eager to learn and be used. 6 of them claim to be worship leaders already, and there are other singers, guitar players, keyboardist, and percussionists. We put them on a list with their gifts, and availability. So now we'll be putting together teams for them to play. There are 4 opportunities a week to play. There are 12 weeks left in the semester. One of those weeks is called outreach week. The students pick a place to go with a team to minister in different ways. Some are going to Greece, some Germany, some England or Israel. They have to pay for it as well. They will do things from evangelism to helps ministries in various outreaches and churches.

Tomorrow is Bruce's worship class. We put together a syllabus for the semester. It will be an overview of worship. Both the "heart and art" of worship. It's a 2 1/2 hour class. The first half will be about worship in the scriptures, including examples of men and women of God. It will address the heart of the worshipper, and his attitude and motives.
The second half will focus on the technique and skills of a worship leader, team member, and individual. It will cover everything from playing instruments to creating flow on a worship set, congregational connection, etc.
We'll also be mentoring students in their skill level with guitar, vocals and keyboards. This will be done on an individual as well as class level. We have our work cut out for us!!!

We're adjusting well to Germany. Jet lag is pretty much over, although sometimes around 4 pm we'll get a bit sleepy. We've been walking a lot, and breathing fresh, snowy air! Everything is covered in white. There's a river right across the way from us that's very full. Yesterday we hiked up a hill that overlooked the city. It was very pretty. I hear bird songs here I've never heard before. Still can't see them, but they sure are inspiring!

Tonight there is a class open for the church community, held at CCSiegen .It's David Guzik's weekly class in Hebrews. (he's in brazil right now, but will be back on Sunday).David is the head of the bibleschule(college) and is a tremendous teacher. Tomorrow night there's a class on German offered. Of course, we'll be taking it!. Have to learn this Deutch!
Thursday is Bruce's other class on Church History. It's a 2 1/2 hour class as well.

We're connecting well with the students. They are very welcoming, and are coming up and talking with us. They have a heart for God and for learning. Some are Americans, and others are from all over Europe ; one's from Ethiopia.
The church here is about 800 people. It's a very dynamic church, and is attracting lots of young German families. The Lord is really moving in this church. You can pray for their pastor, Nick Long. He has a slipped disk, and is probably going to need surgery unless God miraculously heals him. (which we pray He will)

We'll keep you updated with more details as we go. We're so grateful to be here, to be available for whatever God would have us do. We are so grateful for you as well. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be here; for your prayers, support, and love.
Maranatha!!

Deutchland!!!!

We made it here in the Norte Country!!!! God was faithful during the whole 23+ hour trip! Going standby during major flight cancellations across the country was a challenge. Especially trying to sit together. But God intervened (thanks to all the prayers)and we got our flights, and even sat together! We had good flights. Not much turbulence or problems.

We arrived here on Wed @ 11 am. Another answered prayer: we were concerned about all the supplements and vitamins we brought over (enough for 6 months). Germany customs are very strict about vitamins, etc. But..... one of Bruce's suitcases was delayed for 1/2 hour. No one could find it. We prayed, and then it just appeared! By that time, everyone was gone, including the customs control . So we just walked through the area uninspected! PTL! We were met by Andrew, from the college . When we stepped outside, we felt the cold!!! We drove for a little over an hour. As we neared Siegen, it started to snow. Siegen is higher elevation than Frankfurt. We arrived at the college in a winter wonderland! We were shown our cute 1 bedroom apt, right across from the college!!! Originally, we were going to stay about a mile away in another apt. But the people are still living there for another month. So we are much closer. It's a cute newly upgraded place. All tile floors (which I'll have to get used to) and nice and bright and warm. Plus it will be so easy to get together with the students. We're right across from them!

Bruce taught Thursday morning his 2 1/2 hour church history class. Even though he was tired, God gave him the grace to do it!
We met with the staff and lots of students. We will be doing the worship class next week, and working with the students. We'll be developing those who are already leading worship here. There's lots of opportunity here for many things that need to be done.
Another couple here are Mike and Valerie Harrington. I met them in Israel, and they were over the bible college in Jerusalem. They had to leave because they had stayed there too long (7 years). They are working here with the administration paperwork, while Mike is teaching 2 classes. It's nice to be with them again!

The low here has been anywhere from 14-15 F. and the highs in the 20's. Next week is supposed to drop down to a low of 4F.!!! This is all new for me. I've never lived in a climate like this. But it's not bad outside if you dress warm! But inside is another story. We're used to in Seaside having doors and windows open all year. Love the fresh ocean air. But here you keep the windows shut so you don't freeze!! That means lots of dry heated air. We have pots of heated water going to put mist in the air!
Yesterday we went into Siegen to get a few things. They have a store here like home depot. It's even orange and white! We got a broom, shower mat, and little humidifiers that hang on the heaters( heated by hot water). By the way, this place is fully furnished, so we don't have to get much.
Our car will be arriving up north (3 hours) next week. Praying for good dry weather to get it.We don't have the right kind of tires here for snow/ice. I'll be happy to get our music equipment and other things.
We are praising the Lord for His goodness. He is faithful, and we trust Him for all that's in store. We never know what is around the corner, but we know Him, and He is good!! We miss you all, and are a little homesick, but know that God has put us here, and we live to do HIs will!
Until next time, "chooz" (bye) and may God fully bless you and keep you in His hand. A big THANK YOU for all those who have kept us in prayer. It surely has not been in vain!!

We're Leaving!!!!

Well, time has come. These last few months seem to have both flown by, and taken forever ; all at the same time. So much has happened, and God has taken care of so many little details.
We have been moved out of our house, and have been staying with Bruce's mom, Mary for the last 2 weeks. Everything is put away in storage, and all the paperwork has been taken care of.
Many dear friends have come alongside of us, to help with so many areas. Cleaning, packing, feeding us, doing errands, storing our car and valuables, our papers, managing our mail and financial matters; and just being wonderful come-alongside friends. Without all the help, we would not be able to do this.
That's just how God works though. We are together united for His purposes and for His glory.

Today Calvary Chapel Monterey prayed over us for both services. It was a wonderful send off. We said goodbye to many friends and loved ones.
We are looking forward to what's ahead now. Monday (tomorrow) we catch the plane and leave at 6:10 a.m. We go to Phoenix, then transfer to Charlotte. We have a 3 hr layover, then go to Frankfurt. It will be a long trip. But God's grace will be with us.
We arrive in Frankfurt on Tuesday morning.
The bible college has already started it's spring semester. They started the first week already. We'll arrive ready to start working. Bruce will be teaching two classes: Church history, and worship.
I'll be leading worship 3x/week. Monday, Wed, and Friday. Our little apartment will be waiting for us. It's part of the bible college, and is about a mile? away. Praise God it will be furnished, so we don't have to bother ourselves right off the bat with details of living. We're excited about working with the students, and are looking forward to all God's going to do.

It's always a bittersweet thing to leave. Leaving our family, friends, church, house, and even our dear dog is sad. Yet moving into what God has planned is fulfilling. Today at communion, I again reflected on how much Jesus gave up for me. How much suffering, loss, and sacrifice He endured, and willingly chose to go through. All because of HIs great love for me. So again, how can I EVER say no to anything He would require?
Nothing compares to the excellency of knowing Him, and pleasing Him.

Our next blog will be in Deutchland. I won't write in German. Even if I wanted to, I don't yet know the language. But.........I will learn.
So farewell, and we'll meet up on the other side of the Atlantic. STay tuned for the coming adventure!!
Lots of Love in Him,
B &T

Our house is rented!!!!

Praise report!!!!! We have our house rented to a single woman from North Carolina. She's in the military, and will be attending Defense Language Institute here in Monterey. Such an answered prayer! No pets, no kids, steady income, loved our home from pics on the internet! And no lapse of income, as she'll be renting it Feb. 1st! Of all the homes she's been looking at for the last two months, only ours was interesting to her. She called our property manager and asked him if she could apply online sight unseen.
God is so faithful, and I think He likes to glorify Himself by being so obviously amazing. Going above and beyond the ordinary.
Things are moving right along! Friends have come over to help pack, clean, and lend a hand wherever they can. We're having our moving sale tomorrow, and it's been raining all week.
But tomorrow? It's supposed to have sun all day. I pray so!!!
God is able to do exceedingly above all that we even ask or think. To Him be all the glory , honor , and praise!!!!
Thankyou all for your coveted and needful prayers. Without them, nothing would happen.
All things are moved in God's realm through prayer.

Dear Friends, Family, and Loved Ones!

Praying that God is blessing you, and keeping you in the palm of His hand~
This year is moving quickly, both in our lives, as well as the lives of those
around us. Things are generally just speeding up!
For us, we have just a couple weeks left to get everything done. We'll be
leaving on February 8th. We're having a moving sale on Jan. 22, and 23rd.
After that, we'll finish our cleaning of the house, and be out of it by the 1st.
God has been so faithful to answer so many prayers. We think we have a
renter already. We'll know for sure next week. He's providing help from
others around us in so many ways!
Saturday evening, the 16th, we had our last worship concert before we leave.
It was at Mayflower Presbyterian in Pacific Grove. We had a good turn out,
and the glory of the Lord was so present! His sweet spirit filled the room and
our hearts as well. It will be glorious to do this for all eternity, worshipping our
Lord and King. There's nowhere else I'd rather be, than in His presence.

When we arrive in Germany, Bruce will begin teaching at the bible college.
The semester actually starts Feb. 2nd, but we couldn't leave til the 8th.
So we won't have much time to catch up with rest. Please keep us in prayer
for strength, health, and grace to adjust to everything.

We want to thank all of you who have so generously given towards our ministry.
Without you, none of this would be possible. May God continue to pour out into
your lives, filling you with all that is in Christ.

In His faithful love
The Mullers
